Shipping and Delivery

SHIPPING INFO

We rely on multiple delivery partners for door-door delivery services.

Our delivery partners include (but are not limited to):

  • The Courier Guy
  • DSV
  • Aramex
  • PEP
  • Postnet

SERVICE AGREEMENT

The following service agreement will apply but is also subject to change at short notice.

  • Orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days after receipt of payment.
  • Orders received on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday will only be dispatched on Mondays.
  • Parcels are collected and delivered on weekdays between 8am and 5pm.
  • Deliveries to main centres take 1 to 5 working days, all other areas take 1 to 10 business days.
  • Shipping and delivery fees include handling and packing as well as the postage.
  • Delivery fees vary according to total weight of the shipment.
  • Please note that light but bulky products will be charged by volumetric weight when shipping.

ORDER TRACKING

When applicable a delivery tracking linking will be sent to you where you can track your order. For orders to be delivered within short distances, the same province or city, a tracking number might not be available. If you would like to verify the processing of your order or confirm a tracking number please email shop@menshwe.co.za

SHIPPING COST

R161.00 Flat up to 25kg, then R 7.20 per kg thereafter.

Volumetric: Consignments are charged on the greater of the total actual mass or total volume for items per waybill. The formula for calculating volumetric mass per item is dimensions by volumetric factor:

Dimensions: length x width x height divided by 4000

When do surcharges on top of the normal rate apply?

When there is a remote area that requires a dedicated special trip to deliver the consignment then additional charges may be levied.

Examples of special surcharges include:

Mines, Power Stations, Plots/Farms, Military bases, Game Lodges, Ports/Harbours, Embassie/Consulates & remote areas.

There are no regional surcharges, however some selected towns may have surcharges or require special trips to be arranged. Some towns are only serviced on certain days.

Examples:

  • Bereaville R 300.00 surcharge
  • Nmwamitha – Special Trip – arrangements and quote required
  • Thuthukani – serviced on Tuesday and Thursday

Please note, there may be additional charges after 2 failed delivery attempts.
